At the beginning of August 2019, our first container with cleaning tablets for coffee machines went on its sea voyage to Shanghai.

The prehistory: After several preliminary talks, the management of Schulz und Sohn met with a Chinese company active in the gastronomy sector at the end of March 2018 at HOTELEX – an international trade fair for the hospitality industry – in Shanghai. Here they had the opportunity to get to know each other personally and to talk about establishing a joint business relationship.

The negotiations finally were successful, so that we can now proudly report that the first 40-foot container with cleaning tablets for commercial coffee machines is on its way to Rotterdam and will be shipped from there to Shanghai. At the beginning of September 2019, our customers can receive the goods there.

We are very confident that this will develop into a stable German-Chinese business relationship.
