Schulz & Sohn has signed the Diversity Charta, thereby committing itself expressly to a prejudice-free, appreciative, and inclusive corporate culture.
The Diversity Charter is Germany’s largest employer initiative for promoting diversity in the workplace.
By signing the charta, Schulz & Sohn commits to creating a working environment that is free from discrimination. All employees are respected and valued regardless of age, ethnic origin, nationality, gender, gender identity, physical and mental abilities, religion, worldview, sexual orientation, or social background.
According to Mark Sethe, CFO, diversity is a key success factor:
‘Our working world is constantly changing. The conscious promotion of diversity significantly contributes to a company’s innovative strength, employee satisfaction, and future viability. By signing the charter, Schulz & Sohn is committing itself to a corporate culture that not only recognises differences, but also specifically promotes them.’
Schulz & Sohn is already implementing various measures to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion. By signing the charta, the company joins a network of over 6,000 companies and institutions representing more than 16 million employees. They all share the goal of recognising diversity as a social reality and actively shaping it.
Cawa Younosi, Managing Director of the ‘Charta der Vielfalt’ association, emphasises:
‘Living diversity means taking a stand – not just on symbolic days, but in our daily actions. We are delighted that Schulz & Sohn is part of this network and is thus clearly committed to a modern, responsible corporate culture.’
With this step, Schulz & Sohn reaffirms its commitment to sustainable change towards equal opportunities, diversity, and respect – both internally and externally.
