It is with deep sadness that we have to inform you that our esteemed colleague Thorsten Schwarz passed away on 6 May 2024 after a grave illness. His death leaves us all with a deep void.

Thorsten was an indispensable member of our team for almost 40 years. He enriched our company not only with his professional expertise and extensive specialist skills edge, but also with his friendliness, helpfulness, and always open ear for colleagues and customers. His dedication and positive charisma have made him a valued colleague, and we are all deeply affected by his loss.

He was a founding member of Schulz & Sohn in its current form, helped shape the company’s culture, and was significantly involved in many key projects. His commitment and ideas contributed substantially to the growth and success of our company.

One of his last wishes was that donations be collected to the Marienheim hospice in Kaarst instead of flowers. It was something close to Thorsten’s heart, and we can fulfil his wish by doing something good together.
