A successful launch at Schulz & Sohn

At our first networking event, we were delighted to host many guests for an inspiring evening at our Düsseldorf office. The high turnout and positive feedback demonstrated just how relevant topics such as corporate culture, sustainability and modern collaboration are for businesses today.

During the Transformation Walk, our guests gained insights into various areas of our company and our approach to transformation. It became clear just how closely topics such as People & Culture, sustainable business practices and continuous process improvement are interlinked today.

The focus was on our initiatives ‘Hier ausgezeichnet arbeiten’, ÖKOPROFIT and our internal improvement programme S:WIRKT. Together, they demonstrate how we shape and develop change in day-to-day business operations step by step.

The subsequent panel discussion with Sabina Falke Ilbach (ROTONDA), Johanna Zorlu (City of Düsseldorf), Johanna Torkuhl (Competentia) and Mark Sethe (Managing Director / CFO S&S) provided a space for an open exchange on employee development, modern collaboration and the challenges of transformation in medium-sized companies.

The subsequent panel discussion featuring Sabina Falke Ilbach (ROTONDA), Johanna Zorlu (City of Düsseldorf), Johanna Torkuhl (Competentia) and Mark Sethe (Managing Director / CFO, S&S) provided a forum for an open exchange on employee development, modern collaboration and the challenges facing medium-sized businesses transforming.

We were particularly pleased by the diversity of participants from a wide range of sectors – from architecture and finance to energy and the environment, and from consultancy to industry. The lively atmosphere and the many personal conversations demonstrated just how important regional networking and cross-sector exchange are.
Culinary delights, including Arabic mezze from Habeez, also provided the perfect backdrop for conversation and networking in a relaxed atmosphere.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all the guests, contributors, and party organisations who made this evening possible.

For us, one thing is certain:
This was just the beginning.

Four speakers are standing side by side in an outdoor car park, looking into the camera: a man (Mark Sethe) on the left, wearing a white shirt and jeans; next to him, a woman wearing a denim jacket over a patterned dress; then a woman in a white blouse with turquoise jewellery; and on the right, a woman in a white top and a patterned skirt.
A woman with shoulder-length brown hair is speaking at a round bar table on which a tablet is open. She is gesturing with both hands. To her left are at least four people standing with their backs to the camera. In the background is a brightly lit corridor featuring a large blue and yellow mural.
Ms Henriette Grunwald, wearing a colourful patterned top, is standing in front of a roll-up banner bearing the slogan “Eco meets profit – working together for sustainability” and is speaking to a group of at least seven people standing facing her. The room has a warehouse-like feel, with exposed shelving in the background.
A large group photo in a bright function room: around 40 people are arranged in several rows – some standing at the front, others sitting on wooden benches behind them, and others standing at the very back. Four people in the foreground are particularly prominent; numerous are forming heart shapes with both hands, whilst others are giving a thumbs-up.
