On Saturday, 23 March 2024, Earth Hour will once again take place — and we are taking part.
Under the motto “Earth Hour — Your hour for the Earth!”, the lights will be switched off around the globe on this day from 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm. This year marks the 18th anniversary of the world’s largest campaign for more climate and environmental protection. It was launched to set an example.
Schulz & Sohn is one of more than 700 companies in Germany taking part! Marian Nowak, our Head of Maintenance & Repair, will actively support us by switching off the lights everywhere on the company premises on Saturday. This one hour is a powerful symbol that will be understood all over the world without words.
We are switching off the lights together as a sign of a climate-friendly society, ambitious climate protection and a strong democracy.
